Is the violence in Bahrain a Shiite vs Sunni issue, or a monarchy vs democracy issue?

About 85 percent of the population in Bahrain is Shia Muslim and 15 percent, Sunni Muslim. However, that 15 percent of the population rule the whole country and its resources and oppressing Shiite majority. Thus, the protesters are against a Sunni dictatorship, while the Sunni minority resort to violence to repress Shia Muslims even more. And I am telling this as a Sunni Muslim myself.
