What do you think of my poem?

It's a bit "trite" for me...not very original....how old are you? I'm not really into the whole fairy tale theme myself...you don't always need to try so hard to sound like a poet either..just write what comes to you. As in you can sometimes write complete sentences and still have it sound poetic....but that's just my opinion...don't let that stop you from continuing to write...I think you're on to something here...just maybe a bit more practice.
