BGLO Greek Love (Settle this discussion!)?

To be honest, no. I have been an AKA since 1993 and I do not wear a lot of paraphernalia. I went to our regional conference last year and bought a jacket, but I've only worn it twice since then. I don't think it is necessary to scream AKA every time I walk out the door. Of course, I think the two people you mentioned were neophytes which explains a lot!!! When I was initiated during my junior year in college, I wore a lot of paraphernalia but stopped wearing so much during my senior year. Unfortunately, people who are privy to BGLOs tend to look or approach you differently when you have 3 greek letters across your shirt. I agree with your opinion that your deeds should speak first . . . I served my community before Alpha Kappa Alpha because it is my pion . . . and it will continue to be . . . Also, I can't help it if I tend to be a bit prissy too! I've always been that way!
