How long should I have to wait in Air Force DEP for ship date?

I've been in DEP for a little over a month now, I swore in May 25th, I listed around 15 jobs as well as open electronics, with my #1 job choice being Avionics. I was just wondering how long I could expect to wait to know my ship date, it's kind of discouraging to think I'd be waiting more than 6 months
